Fabulous Five from a Fantastic First Day (:

Oba Pine: Very Good (in Miskito!) perfectly describes our first full day in Puerto Cabezas!  Our team completed a variety of tasks and we have so many reasons to be thankful:

1.  After a long day with few roadblocks, Tim and Eric successfully installed the first filter, now producing drinking water onthe compound and two more are ready to be placed in the orphanage
2.  Learning and preparing wASH curriculum to teach in the community
      - Janelle's spanish knowledge, Zac's friendly personality, and Jared's quiet leadership combine to create a power hygiene teaching team
3.  Visiting the orphanage, making new friends, and breaking the lanuage barrier with fun hand games
4.  Having beautiful conversations with translators, community members, and fellow teammates
5.  Experiencing the joys and beauty of Nicaragua - delicious rice and beans, colorful birds, fresh fruit, coffee (Ariela, Linnet, and Zac), and just being in a rainforest!!

Please continue to pray for energy, healthy bodies, smooth installation of the remaining filters, spanish practice for the puppet show, and being open and flexible to God's plans!
